A simple and minimalistic recipe that is packed with protein and delicious melted chocolate – this recipe is a perfect pre-workout snack, packed with protein and carbohydrates to give you energy. No baking involved in the making of this recipe.
Protein Chocolate puffed rice bars
- 300g sugar-free milk chocolate
- 120g chocolate puffed rice
- 25g chocolate protein powder
- Sprinkle of almond flakes
Begin by melting 200g of the milk chocolate over hot water.
Using the bowl of your Ninja Kitchen System and the plastic blade, pour in the chocolate puffed rice, chocolate protein and melted chocolate and pulse several times until the ingredients are mixed together.
Transfer the mixture into a tray lined with greaseproof paper and place in the fridge to set.
Melt the 100g of the milk chocolate, then pour over the rice bars and sprinkle some of the almond flake – place back in the fridge to set for approximately 1 hour.
Remove from the tray and slice into bars.
